Oh, David. I am sorry they are messing up the scheduling. This is going to be an ongoing process for many weekends. They really need to work it out better. I'm sure you are both exhausted.
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I"m sorry, Hec. I wish these trips always went smoothly! it seems like the least the universe could do
This is jammy Egg
I can appreciate that
we’ve explained this to the doctor and study coordinator
How far in advance are they doing the scheduling?
I'm on a six week schedule (not a two week schedule like yours), but they are still careful to make sure I am scheduled at least twelve weeks in advance, and preferably eighteen.
I wish you better scheduling, better coordination, and less frustration.
Thank Jeebus! Our coordinator finessed it to start your infusion earlier today and keep us on time for our flight out on Sunday.
I was pretty tart with him on the phone last night and he sounded contrite like a scolded puppy. So I am appreciative that he found a work around.
As for your question, dcp, they don’t tend to schedule much beyond the next CT scan so roughly 8 weeks out.
David, that's so frustrating! I'm glad the coordinator got the infusion time moved.
Good, at least it got sorted. But boo to the stress.
You guys, a friend of mine is driving to the Arctic Ocean from Cincinnati (which is not a thing I knew a person could do until she planned her trip). She's in her mid-60s, took an early retirement, bought a fully tricked-out campervan, and has been making treks all over the US for the last year or two. And this summer is her bucket list trip of driving up through the US into Canada and the Yukon Territory up to the Arctic Circle (she crossed into the Arctic Circle on Tuesday) so she can jump in the Arctic Ocean. She's been thoroughly documenting it with photos on Facebook, and it's been delightful to follow along.
That sounds amazing! It also makes me remember my friend Carlos (who was himself from the Yukon) who took a bus from Montreal to Mexico City.
