This morning started off badly. My car got rear-ended on the on ramp to 270.(The on-ramps have lights on them to meter the traffic) I was waiting for the car ahead of me to move when I got hit. Luckily there was a cop just behind us, and insurance information was exchanged.

I'm alright, my car's rear bumper needs some work. I filed a claim with my insurance and have an appointment first thing Monday morning at the body shop. I just need to get in touch with Enterprise for a car rental.(Insurance set things up, but they called the home number, and by the time I could call them back, they were closed. Luckily they're open tomorrow morning.)

I'm so sorry. It seems like the worst loss to get past in so many ways. Writing could still happen again, though. I know I had no expectations of ever writing again after a couple of decades without, and then *bam* I got hit up sideways by a new show that broke open all kinds of locked-up things in me.

If our team didn't clinch the series last night they would have played at home tomorrow and we had tickets. But they won! Which cool, they go to the next level, but no doubt the tickets will be seriously pricey. I mean it was over $500 for the last round, and that is as far as my loyalty goes. I'll be refunded now that they won the series. Likely can get full-season tickets for next year for less than the next-round tickets. Anyway, go Panthers!
