I went to a baseball game with family and friends last night
I do love going to a baseball game. Can't stand to watch it on tv, but in person a whole different thing.
I am not at all surprised that kids of all sorts gravitate to him.
They really do, as does he to them. When we are out and about he always messes with the kids, makes faces at them, knuckle bumps, it is quite sweet. He even manages to win over the surly teens he coaches somehow.
Timelies all!
Happy Birthday Karl!
Mr. S is home for a visit. Just for tonight. Up until now it has been going fine, but we're getting resistance to taking some of his meds and he's starting to get agitated. Sigh...
Happy birthday, Karl!
I have been in a very intense leadership training all week and as a result all I have done today is walk the dog, do a load of laundry, go to the gym, and read. Well, I guess that's not nothing, but it feels like not much.
Just heard a bunch of loud bangs in the neighborhood: it was either fireworks or gunfire, and either way, it went on for a long time. Pretty disturbing.
Sending much calm~ma for the rest of Mr. S's visit.
Well, he went out for a walk with Gary, and ran off. Called 911, and wrangled him back home. Now we're trying to get him to go to bed...
Ugh today was another feeling super sick all day. I had planned to go to the soccer game tonight but decided I didn’t have the energy which is a bummer, because I don’t get to see my friends either.
Have eaten all of a couple saltines and a tiny bit of granola bar today. Trying to decide if ordering ramen or pho would be a good plan—I still feel iffy but also like I need to eat something?

JZ's tummy was wonky tonight so she took a nausea med and then tentatively ate a bit of baguette with butter. Success! Followed by another small bit of bread and butter.
Side note: I can't get over how ridiculous Camilla looks in that crown. Absurd and laughable.
It really highlights how ridiculously dated and just generally off the whole thing is.
Oh Sheryl, I am so sorry.

Seriously, I haven't seen anything except a few blips on the news and burst out laughing. Complete lack of anything that could be called charm or grace.
