I still feel iffy but also like I need to eat something?
JZ's tummy was wonky tonight so she took a nausea med and then tentatively ate a bit of baguette with butter. Success! Followed by another small bit of bread and butter.

Side note: I can't get over how ridiculous Camilla looks in that crown. Absurd and laughable.
It really highlights how ridiculously dated and just generally off the whole thing is.
Oh Sheryl, I am so sorry.

Seriously, I haven't seen anything except a few blips on the news and burst out laughing. Complete lack of anything that could be called charm or grace.
There’s a guy here at the bar with a man-bun, a pencil mustache, several gold chains, and an ascot. I don’t know what to make of it.
That's a lot of stereotypes to uphold all at once.
Perhaps he just lost a bet?
Timelies all!
Mr. S is back at the facility. This morning went reasonably well, as did lunch. Something about bedtime that brings out the worst in him...
Aw, man, Vida Blue died. One of my first clear memories is watching him pitch on TV for the Oakland A's before I had any idea where Oakland was. I only knew that my father had lived there once.

So today I learned I have Norwegian rats in the crawlspace: they tunnel under the foundations! And then I read Parable of the Sower, which is just not a book you want to read when you're already worried about ... stuff. Anything.
So now I'm just fucking depressed.
(I will get the rats dealt with, but the long-term fix is about $10K, because I would have to get the foundation sealed with concrete.
Yikes, that is a lot of money, and I did not know that about rats?! Tunnel under the foundation!?! I don’t even want to think about it.
Today am thankfully feeling better, and just brought some homemade lactation cookies to friends with a three week old baby, and they gave me pedialyte popsicles, because one of them is on a similar medication and said having one in the morning really helped her. Fingers crossed!
Tom, that is a lot. Man bun and pencil mustache is a lot but…ascot!
