M's mom caught the bathroom trash on fire, she throws out her cigarette butts into the trash can and doesn't make sure they are actually out. This is the second time this has happened in as many months. The first time M told her she can only use a glass with water to put out her cigarettes but of course she stopped doing it. She doesn't seem to be taking this seriously. Which is infuriating on several levels, including the fact that she has been upset at me because I left a lamp on ("how hot does that get") and had papers on the floor and was stressing over it being a fire hazard.
We are going to Florida on the 15th and I honestly don't feel comfortable leaving her alone in the house for that long. I don't know what we are going to do.

It was going very smoothly until they cancelled our flight! In perfect weather, no less.
From what I could see on flightradar24, your aircraft didn't leave San Antonio TX until this morning. Could have been a mechanical issue, could have been a crew issue.

David ok glad it was just the flight cancelation for some reason I was thinking there was issues with the marathon but that was the previous trip.
I just had to wrangle a medication refill issue by calling CVS, then insurance, then my doctor's office. I *think* it's all fixed, but I won't really know it's fixed until CVS tells me I can come pick up the meds.
Those phone calls have me so riled up that I'm going to do some yoga to try to regain some level of chill.
