On the upside, I think I'm ready for the fall of civilization. I just had soup for lunch that I made yesterday using broth I made from veg scraps, with bread I made on the side. Granted, I'm still relying on the supermarket, but some of my neighbors garden, and I'm pretty sure one still has chickens, so we can make it together.

It seems like there should be at least one involuntary manslaughter charge, but my law degree is from Law and Order.

And then for dinner reheated French fries and Brussels sprouts from my takeout the night before. And then a bowl of cereal for dessert. ...this is why having children always seemed scary to me. Is it wrong that I hope Adam Schiff has a degree from Law & Order as well? He has to have checked it out, right? I guess it wouldn't really make a difference for general population of insurrectionists, but still. I'm reading his statement thing right now, good stuff.
