That's good to hear, Sheryl.
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Most of today was spent on bailing out my laundry room again (the flood barrier I ordered arrived yesterday, but not early enough to block off wherever water's seeping in), going to the grocery store, and pulling weeds from the yard to give myself another week without mowing. Tomorrow I should have free other than sweeping my floors and feeding alley cats, so my plan is to see that anniversary showing of My Neighbor Totoro.

Oooh, good plan. That's like Zoloft in cinematic form.
Boo on the flooding, Matt, but yay for the barrier... and movie.
I'm sitting at the gate waiting for my flight. Definitely think it was a stomach bug yesterday. Er, I hope I'm not spreading any germs, but, like, I'm masked? And I feel better? Like, no one else is masked. I kind of don't get it -- I want to avoid as many germs as possible!
Anyway.
I have a book and I'm just kind of mellow, so, all is well.
Thinking of Allyson today as she celebrates a milestone birthday. Hoping it is a joyous day and that the year to come is awesome, as she deserves.
Have a family social thing today, which should be fun. It is the far-right segment of the family, but there should be plenty of sane people and we don't tend to get political when we are together, so it is all good.

I really believed that masks would be a forever thing in airports. It will be for me!
Happy birthday, Allyson!
And I'm with you, Laura & Jen: airports and all public transit is still where I mask up.
I have a book and I'm just kind of mellow, so, all is well.
Sounds right.
Also, I will also be masking up on airplanes and airports for the foreseeable future.
I wish someone would have suggested it before. Both my mother and I have gotten sick from a plane. Happy birthday, Allyson.
The last time I got an actual notification from my phone about an exposure (though I’m sure not the last time I’ve been exposed) was after being on an airplane. I felt a bit hypocritical since I did take it off to eat (it was a cross country flight) but I made sure it was 100% on in the airport and when boarding and deplaning since they say that’s when the air circulation is worst. I feel like I must’ve had it at some point here, though—I haven’t been masking at dancing or my recent bowling adventures…
