I met up with my local astro group for star gazing last night. Some of these folks are serious about their telescopes. Luckily they’re also the sort of people who want to share their fun toys, so I got to see some great stuff—loads of stars in the Pleiades, the Orion Nebula , etc.

My experience has been that those two things usually go together.

Annoying!

It's Saturday morning and somewhat productive so far. Showered, went to the dog park, grocery shopped, put away the groceries, made coffee. The animals are both sleeping so I guess I will make myself some brunch and catch some tv before deciding on work work or house work. Beach will need to happen sometime today. I haven't been all week.

I have not been productive, because I woke up with a tummy ache, what the what? But it's gone now, and I even ate a little something with no ill-effects.

Now I'm reading "Bandersnatch," which was recently recommended to me, and I hope to be doing that for the next couple of hours before going to a friend's house for some tea and to meet her new (ish) pup. Good day so far.

Uh, I had plans to watch a soccer game with friends and then as we were making more concrete plans just now realized I somehow misread everything and the game is actually tomorrow not today. Doh.

Ugh, I just asked for a rain check for my friend visit this afternoon. I have been uber tired since last night, and between the tummy ache this morning and getting super wiped out as I started to make moves to get ready, I think I may be coming down with or have something. Which super sucks, on top of of tea date, because I'm supposed to fly out tomorrow. Bah.

My productivity has been minimal after all. Mostly watched tv. Went to the pool and swam some and sunbathed while listening to a book. Feeling darn lazy, and quite good about it. About to prep dinner though, since gotta eat.

Timelies all!

It was raining for most of the day, so we didn't take Mr. S to a playground when we came to visit. We ended up at a nearby Target where we ended up buying him a squeezy ball, a book and some Pokemon cards. Then to Pizza Hut for lunch. He seemed a bit overexcited, but no meltdowns occurred, so it was a good visit.
