Best wishes with the Surgery, Hec.

Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I've been asking ChatGPT questions and the answers are really underwhelming. It reminds me of when I used GitHub's co-pilot for awhile. It was kinda meh. Maybe I'm just bad at picking questions to ask.
Aw, Hecubus...hoping life clears your plate soon.
Mine, too. (In a different way.) But sometimes I wish special education hadn't taught us to think of getting a break as a disabled person the way abled people think about head lice.
The surgery was more extensive than I had expected. I thought they were just going to go around the perimeter of the original excision, which had started at about the size of a 50 cent piece, and healed to a nickel.
But they did a big old six inch diamond incision around the whole area and stitched it up and I'm going to have a gnarly dueling scar.
And they've postponed the first infusion by a week, which is just fine by me. I'm canceling our flights and stay and will re-book.
I'm very weary.
Get some rest!

Scars are cool, though. So much cooler than skin cancer.
My goodness that is a day. I hope you can both get some restful collapsing accomplished during the delay.
Good morning, Buffistae. Waken from your slumbers and greet the grey day. Or maybe you've got blue skies.
My shoulder is tight almost as if somebody had sewn it back together.
Weird.
Lots of medical stuff going on with Buffistas. Thinking healy thoughts to you all.
My dad had knee replacement surgery yesterday and is doing well. He might go home today. He had the other knee replaced over a decade ago so it’s nice to see progression of techniques and aftercare. My mom has a red rashy looking spot on her chest that turns out to be a reaction to her breast cancer infusion treatment and not skin cancer, so that is a yay. She also has mushy growth under the skin in the back of her neck. Biopsy shows that to be a benign fatty tumor that they will schedule for removal after dad recovers from his surgery.
