My dad had knee replacement surgery yesterday and is doing well. He might go home today. He had the other knee replaced over a decade ago so it’s nice to see progression of techniques and aftercare. My mom has a red rashy looking spot on her chest that turns out to be a reaction to her breast cancer infusion treatment and not skin cancer, so that is a yay. She also has mushy growth under the skin in the back of her neck. Biopsy shows that to be a benign fatty tumor that they will schedule for removal after dad recovers from his surgery.

Work is grinding me down. Nothing seems to go right, they want a lot more than I feel capable of giving, and I really am having a hard time motivating. I keep thinking I should apply for new jobs but then I expect those wouldn’t be that different. where are my lotto winnings?
