ND makes an excellent point.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That is so

I suppose some day we will go more than a few weeks without reorganizing and I won't know what to do with myself

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

TMI, Dad.

I feel that way about my brother's prostrate issues but I figure body parts having issues are just part of life at this point. So I've been working on getting rid of the oddness and just accepting that bodies are made of parts, and they aren't scandalous. It's a work in progress.

We had 35 feet of fencing come completely down in storms and today all of the materials we needed to replace the section in the same design as the other three sides (it was a plain wood fence that was already in place previously) were in. Two trips to Tetris the wood and wire mesh into small cars. With a bonus trip to Home Depot to get more screws. I was so focused on getting the right wood that we missed checking screws. So hopefully by Monday, we will be able to let Shelby pup out for more than supervising the construction.

Our wings are not tired.

Dad~ma, Sheryl.

Reorganizing! That's what we need to do more often!

With a bonus trip to Home Depot to get more screws.

Yes, we measure the complexity of the project by how many trips we end up making to the hardware store. I hope Shelby is at least enjoying the supervising.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Yay on a firm date, Epic!

Here's hoping all goes well with your dad's biopsy, Sheryl.

A chunk of the porcelain on my crown broke off the other night, causing me to wonder what was crunchy and hard in my cup of minute rice. Fortunately the interior metal cap remains, so no exposed tooth, no eating restrictions, and no pain other than in the wallet. And hey, I now have a gold tooth (well, white gold) until I can get a replacement temporary crown in a few weeks!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So glad you finally have a surgery date, Epic!!

There is no such thing as taking a single trip to Home Depot. There is always a followup trip.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Quiet here today...

Our wings are not tired.

My excitement today was finally going to the hair salon and getting my bangs back. I have worn bangs for most of my life, but for the last few years, I decided to grow them out to better accommodate putting my hair up in a twist to keep it under control in my windy environment. But I missed them and they can blow around without bothering me. I am delighted with the familiar face, and from Brendon's reaction and those of my family and friends on FB, apparently, they agree. Took an inch or so off the length too just to make it neater.
