Went to visit Mr. S this afternoon. He seemed okay, though he got bored quickly. Then we went to visit with friends who live relatively close to the center, and ended up going out to dinner with them.

Due to family history I've had at least 5, maybe 6 colonoscopies already--my doctor currently has me on an every 3 years cycle. I don't generally take the day before off, but you definitely want the full day of at least. If you haven't already scheduled it, I recommend no later than mid-morning, and I also try to schedule for a Friday whenever possible.
