I’m sorry, Hil. I hope it’s short and mild.
Those dresses look fun, Susan! I hope you’re healed up and can wear them soon.

I’m sorry Hil. I hope you get good treatment options.
Cute dresses with pockets, hooray!
I contacted the person covering for my doctor over the weekend, and got a Paxlovid prescription. Still not feeling great, but not really awful either. People are covering my classes on Monday, and I'll see how I'm feeling on Tuesday to decide what will happen on Wednesday (because new policy is just quarantining for five days, then do a rapid test, and if that's negative and no fever for 24 hours, then can go back, with a mask for the next five days.) Based on how I'm feeling now, I don't think I'll be ready to go back on Wednesday, but I'll see.
I'm sorry you have covid Hil I hope that it's mild and over quickly.
Yay for being able to wear dresses. That is awesome Susan.
I came up to moms since I javemt seen her since before xmas because she was sick and then I was. I'm getting caught up on stuff that she forgot to tell me over the phone. Mostly about my cousin's son , J.(my cousin who had the stroke and then died). He is in foster care now. His mom made an attempt to care for him but she wasn't able to. She also lost guardian ship of J's half sister, well the one in high school. One of their cousin's has taken her in and that cousin works with the foster system so she has become a resource and part of the support for J.
Turns out J has landed with one of the best foster parents that a kid can get. And he is going to school (he hadn't been) and he is actually communicating again with my mom and my aunt.
Oh that’s a good turn askye.

Pinch-hitting for Laura...
Today is the birthday of the magnificent Beverly!
May you have a lovely day and stupendous year ahead, Beverly. Happy Birthday!

For a timeline, I started feeling sick Saturday night. Tested myself early Monday, called my NP, got an almost immediate telehealth appt and picked up the Paxlovid by noon. I tested negative (it was the first time I tested since the first two positives) on Friday. I was exposed (most likely) on Thursday evening so I was symptomatic 48 hours after exposure. And started taking Paxlovid 36 hours after first symptoms.
I hope you feeling much better soon and have an easy recovery.
Happy birthday, Bev! I hope the day for you and H is as lovely as you.
Happy Birthday Beverly!
