Yikes, Sheryl. That's a fraught sentence. Vibing for a gentle transition to non-boredom.

Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Alas, he's been wild all evening.
Just had a fun couple of rounds SuperBowling with friends (literal bowling - not the game) followed by dinner. Fun times. Good way to finished the weekend. Now I plan to read and go to bed early.
I went for a long training hike in San Bruno this morning with some friends, and when we got back to the car there was a gentleman around my age leaning on his car, looking sweaty and weepy. We asked if he was okay, and he said he had pain from his shoulder down his arm. Which made us all very nervous. We tried to call 911 for him, but he said he had no health insurance and wasn't old enough yet for Medicare. In the end, we got his son's phone number, drove up to the top of the ridge where we got cell coverage, and called the son. Texted him the location where his father was.
I hope he's okay. He really didn't want us to do anything for him but we insisted on giving him aspirin and water and making sure he had someone who knew where he was.
not watching the game, but I paused my movie to watch the halftime show and was underwhelmed. No guest stars even.
Oh, geez, Consuela. I hope he's OK, and, Jesus this country is fucked up with respect to health care, which is stating the obvious, but, good god.
Nearly anywhere else in the world we could have called him some help without it ruining his financial situation.
Lots of visits near the groomers with his favorite treats! Gotta overwhelm the fear with good associations.Yep.
DH and I have obtained Burning Man tickets for this year.Fantastic!

I totally watched the Super Bowl. And was happy with the results. Even loved halftime.
Humph, the picture frame (containing the print of O'Keefe's Radiator Building, Night, New York that I intend to hang in my kitchen) for which I bought a new pane of glass has no visible seams or means to adjust how it fits together, so I can't get the glass in. I seem to have reached the point in settling in where everything I try to do runs into obstructions. I suspect buying a new assemble-it-yourself frame will be cheaper and easier than having the glass trimmed to fit, so that's my onerous task for tomorrow.
I did get my new seat covers installed for the front seats of my car, and started painting a wooden base for some illustrated stand-up figures, so I guess the day wasn't completely unproductive.

Likewise! Although I was paying more attention to the rigging of those platforms and looking for fall arrest tethers than I was to the halftime performance itself.
