Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Glad to hear JZ found this infusion more palatable!
Wonder of wonders, my washer/dryer set did appear, first thing this morning! The dryer part at least appears to be working—I'll buy some detergent and test the washer tomorrow when the laundry room/outbuilding doesn't feel like a meat locker.
Good to hear that the infusion went better this round.
Woooot! Clean clothes are in Matt's future!
Sheryl, I hope the pre-admission meeting answers any questions you and Gary may have. All the ~ma that this works out for your family.
Banana bread can't be bad!
Truthiness!
After way too many topples off the wagon tonight is healthy mahi in a jerk run, with roasted Brussels sprouts and red peppers. Smells mighty tasty. Waiting for DH to get home from dog park before I put the fish in the oven.
I did not order in, instead I made caramelized onion biscuits and ate them with cheese and sausage. Maybe tomorrow a vegetable?
Onions are a vegetable. Well, technically they're a bulb, but...vegetation. They should count.
So glad the infusion went better. And that indeed was a busy day, David.
Yay for new car! And for washer-dryer delivery. And for art.
All good things to hear.
I just skimmed 200 or so posts. I'll meara later! But hi, all, in the meantime.
Who's doing what this weekend?Going back to catch up on about 400 missed Natters!
JZ is doing much better this morning than last time, so they seem to have successfully tweaked her cocktail with better anti-nausea meds.So good to hear.
This weekend is frigid here in MD, though I'm grateful to say it's not as bad as all that. My heating bill has doubled, despite pretty conservative usage. But...heating...so no complaints.
I am embarrassed to say my biggest problem these days is a huge case of 'don't-wannas'. My body is loving the not being at DefCon1 all the time. So much, that I just can't be fussed. Not good for my body, mind or business, but enjoyable none the less.
I'm planning an online productivity group based on live co-working sessions. It's a service, sure, but really just as much for me as anyone else.
People are so worn out after years of [waves in futile angst at the world] alla this, community seems to be the only solution.
Someone probably posted about this already, but I was just hipped to the absolutely sadistic conditions on the set of the UK Squid Game reality show. I cannot even imagine someone signing up for that. All I can think is: Bread & Circus really is the endgame reality.
On the other side of the tv coin, I haven't watched The Last of Us, mostly because Pedro can't be anyone but Mando in my brain. But, I saw Nick Offerman talk about his episode being a standalone and my love for NO is unbounded. What a beautiful hour of tv. Seriously. Just lovely. Derivative of a lot of other tv episodes smooshed together, but the acting really puts it over the top.
I leave way too early tomorrow morning for a week in Disney World! I did Disneyland for the first time in early 2020 (like, right before covid), but it's been probably 20+ years since I went to DW.
I am taking Oliver and his boyfriend to Anime Milwaukee! I am geeking out.
