I seen you without your clothes on before. Never thought I'd see you naked.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Exciting on the new cars, Laura!

We're running around this morning compounding the typical morning rush with me taking JZ to her second chemo infusion.

Wish us a smooth commute (in the rain), and easy infusability with extra anti-nausea meds.

So wished, Hec.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Calm and no nausea for JZ.

Last day of Paxlovid today.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Commute and infusion~ma, and hope-the-Paxlovid-did-its-job~ma

I am not enjoying my work day. It has too much work in it, for one thing.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

My washer/dryer will allegedly be delivered and installed sometime tomorrow, its FOURTH scheduled delivery. I'll believe it when I hear the washing machine go through a rinse cycle.

In other house news I finally got my kitchen cleared out enough to move my drop-leaf breakfast cart out to its intended position completing the square of the countertops, which also places it perfectly to set groceries on while I'm stowing them in the fridge. And I completed painting the top edge of the misaligned cupboard under my bathroom sink so it matches the rest of the exterior. Plus switched my parents' portrait and a wall clock in my living room, both looking better in the position I'd originally chosen for the other.

Nice, Matt! Fingers crossed for the delivery and installation...

We just had a lovely dinner out, and now myMatt is getting a piece of Masonite from Home Depot while I sit in the warm car.

Who's doing what this weekend?

I have some work (morning hours), a brow wax, starting my wooden bookshelf-scene-model thing I got for Christmas, and dinner or brunch with some friends on the docket. I hope dinner/brunch happens Sunday, when it's supposed to be twenty degrees warmer.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Who's doing what this weekend?

I'm fighting a cold (so far the Covid tests are negative), so I might just be reading* and Netflix-ing all weekend. We'll see.

*(The indie bookstore in our neighborhood will deliver, just within our neighborhood. That is awesome and dangerous to my bank account!)

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I’m watching as many movies as possible. Probably doing free 7 day trial with hbo and watching all the nominated films.

Thumbs up to all of that except the cold-having by Steph.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Mr. S pulled the fire alarm at school today. It's not the first time he's done that. Sigh...one more week of school.

As for this weekend, nothing special planned. I do need to go to the library as a book I put on hold is in. It'll be the first time in a while, as all the library books I've read in the last year or so have been e-books.
