Life is going well. Mac is doing well. Work is chaotic and we are short staffed in leadership roles which means some things that two years ago were being done by a Deputy Director are now being done by us, admin staff, and that is NOT GREAT.

It is my wfh day and Mac is working so I have an empty house and I am feeling like having a slightly low-productive workday and then I see my to do list and wahhh. I want to flake off and take 10-15 minute breaks every hour.

Hmm, Maybe I will put on a movie instead and do as much of the non-thinky work as possible.

JZ, my friend here who's cancer who spread to her peritoneum has been going on 10 years. It's been a slog but she's still going. Can you smoke or vape? I don't do well with edibles and tinctures are NAST. I'll tell you what, I have had some milk chocolate sea salt caramel edibles that are the BOMB, though.

I'm having issues getting my new diabetic injectable because of low supply. Apparently semaglutides are the Next Big Thing in weight loss and nobody was prepared for the big demand. It's been so much better for me than Metformin (which gave me the raging trots). My A1-C went from 8.4 back down to 6.5. So I sort of need it.

Susan, once your recovering is done, you will be AMAZED. I don't miss my boobs at all.

In Covid news, Emmett called to tell me that he and his girlfriend Kalena both have Covid. Her manager went off to Vegas and came back coughing all over the office.
