Crap, I hope they have mild cases, Hec.

Lisa, that is great about the efficacy but sucks about the supply. I hope the manufacturing catches up to the demand soon.

I am having a super "Squirrel!" day today. Not all bad, but I would like to find some focus. Must be some in a drawer around here somewhere...

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I'm having one of THOSE days. I overslept and it went downhill from there.

In happier news - for at least one person on the board - Thursday is National Tater Tot Day. Do celebrate responsibly.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I'm having issues getting my new diabetic injectable because of low supply. Apparently semaglutides are the Next Big Thing in weight loss and nobody was prepared for the big demand.

Grrrrrrr.

Emmett called to tell me that he and his girlfriend Kalena both have Covid. Her manager went off to Vegas and came back coughing all over the office.

That blows. It's infuriating when you know exactly where you got Covid.

She hates the tinctures but the edibles are fine.

Has JZ tried alcohol based or oil based tinctures? I don't like the oil. The alcohol has a mild sting when it's sublingual but I feel like it's better for me.

Congrats, Calli!

Ugh, I'm sorry to hear that. My doctor mentioned semaglutides to me as a possibility to help with my A1C. I punted the medication decision for 6 months while I try some lifestyle changes, but one of my questions around the weight loss aspect was if I'd regain it if I stopped taking it. I'm not sure if demand will go down once the rebound effects are clear or if people will stay on it unnecessarily in order to maintain the weight loss.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

on the tinctures are people doing the drops or spray? a friend in Canada who smoked through her young adulthood told me she loves a spray. she was advising me on options for mac, since I really don't want him smoking or vaping and edibles have such a different time lapse.

JZ was doing the drops and didn't like the oily-ness.

I have leftover tater tots in the fridge! This is a sign!

It's 6a, and I don't really have to be awake, but here we are. My leg kept cramping up, which is annoying and not conducive to sleep (I know why it happens and how to prevent it, but every once in a while, I lose my lead on it..)

Eh, maybe I'll try sleep again now and see how it goes.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I’m honor of Groundhog Day I looked at the 10-day forecast on my phone. Rain all weekend. I do not seem to have a six-weeks forecast, alas.

Apparently if you're enough of a power nerd, there is nothing that cannot be flowcharted.

I’m honor of Groundhog Day I looked at the 10-day forecast on my phone.

We're supposed to go from normal temps to fucking frigid and then back to normal temps in the next 4 days. When I read that, the first thing I did was make sure I had enough migraine meds. It's too bad no one is looking to hire a human barometer. Or, hey, it doesn't have to be traditional employment; I'd be fine with a patronage system.
