It’s a good way to go and Richmond is definitely the best place to switch from BART to Amtrak. It’s how I get home from SFO just staying on the train for one more stop.

Day 8 of this cold. WTF. I had to cancel my ski trip because I don't want to contaminate my sister & her fiance, but on the other hand I have two cozy dogs to keep me company. And I guess I can work on my day off.
I'm pondering attempting Kouign Amann recipe from NYT. I usually make them in muffin tins, and I always struggle to get the center cooked through without burning the exteriors. I wonder if this would be better or worse?
And if I wash my hands a lot, is it too cavalier to bake something for sharing while I'm sick?

Consuela, I’m sorry you’re still sick and had to cancel your trip. It sounds like the flu I had over Christmas. It lingered forever.
