Thank all that is holy that the drug debacle is over for you JZ. Blessings on everyone who pushed and pulled to make that happen.

Odd question, but do the piggies shed much? If they do, or if human hair/lint, etc. are an issue in your house, I have the solution!

I feel like a cross between a QVC shill and that baboon holding up the cub at the beginning of The Lion King. I have found the greatest device EVAH!!!

Seriously, Cagney sheds like it his job, and his needle like fur is not the kind you can brush away. It weaves into absolutely everything. I was so glad to move into this new place with hardwood floors and brand new carpet...clean at last! And then, fell into the same sort of despair as every other place. No high quality vacuum and robot combo can keep up.

Yesterday, I turned on a Dresden novel and spent hours with the Uproot (tm) cleaning two couches, the living room rug and hall runner. Seriously, it was incredibly meditative, with the added bonus of a satisfying end result. There is also some ASMR involved, if you are into that sort of thing.

Your results may vary, and you need to be gentle with some surfaces, but I honestly can't recommend it highly enough.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Matt TBF turned me on to those a while back. It’s horrifying and intensely satisfying all at once.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Hmm, I am trying a new vacuum but the Uproot might be another tool in the never-ending fun of owning a white German Shedder. Her fur is everywhere and doesn't match my clothing that skews gray-black and often striped.

I need a zebra.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Odd question, but do the piggies shed much?

Somewhat but (a) they are small and (b) they mostly live in their cage though they do come out for cuddles.

Still, I'm happy for your Uproot powers! What I need is a tool that will suck the rigid inflexibility out of pharmacists.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Not even a Dyson will do that.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

I have Uproot in three sizes. It's great, though it can be rough on sensitive fabric.

After spending a month with my friends and their shepherd mix, I was reminded again why I got a dog that doesn’t shed. Sure, I have to pay for regular grooming, but I don’t have dog hair all over my house and clothes all the time! Whew.

Got home about 645pm, feeling wrecked. Two days of 11ish hours driving is too much. Didn’t sleep well in the motel last night (thin walls, and then some jackass had to idle his truck for a good 20 minutes at 530am). So I left around 630, got gas and coffee and headed out. It rained allll day, and I ended up stopping at a rest stop and eating my food and reading for 30 min until the sun came up, because the twisty mountain roads were scary AF in the rain, didn’t need the dark too!

.It actually hurts my customer service soul. Once you get a customer you are their advocate. Or at least explain what is happening and offer choices.

We were hoping to go to the zoo for New Years tomorrow, but apparently there is going to be torrential rain. Which is not fun in Rochester, but may be terrible in Buffalo and lead to awful flooding.

Brenda, right?! Horrifying and satisfying, kind of how I felt about Meatloaf way back in the day.

a white German Shedder
HA!! Someone tried to convince me to call it Cagney Glitter. That's a bridge too far, even for me. My wardrobe is similarly grey-black, so the white fur cannot be classified as an accessory.

Sheer strength of will won the day this time. I'm praying you never need to exercise it again.

I have Uproot in three sizes.
Pix, do you have the broom size? I am debating splashing out on that one because the large hand-held is already so effective. And, you are right about the sensitive fabrics. I've had to be very careful on some softer fabrics, but was thrilled to be able to make it work on my Surefit couch slipcovers.

I hadn't thought about the affect of the rain on those areas with a lot of snow. Oh dear. I wish I could decree a holiday reprieve from all the woes, weather and otherwise.
