I'm so sorry, Hec. I am unsurprised that filling the prescription is so damn hard but still very angry about it. And I would come do the dishes if I was close to hand (not that my dishes are washed, but washing someone else's dishes is always easier for me, it is my go to helping out thing (not that that is helpful, but maybe someday I will be handy when you need your dishes washed and you will remember and put me to work))
That sucks, sj
Cass, same company. They’re blaming me essentially because there was too much to do in the time allotted, which is just making me feel like shit. I did tell them it was bad. They were going I send 3-4 people. They sent 2. Living room floor lamps not dusted, tops of bookcases not dusted, under bed not dusted. I’m get more upset by the second.
That doesn't sound like anything that's your fault, sj. Did they charge you full the full job?
Yeah, sending half the crew they told you they were going to send sounds like bullshit to me.

They should be happy to refund you between a third and a half of the cost since they didn't send the agreed upon number of staff.
It's actually likely easier to deal with MM because they do have a corporate. They have an interest in not being trashed in reviews and on the social medias. I wish I could transport over and deal with this for you.
They seriously need to refund some money or send people back. Those are the only two options. Alternately, if you do hire them for monthly, one free cleaning to make up for their error in number of people or time scheduled this time.
Yep, Cass has the right of it
So what recourse do I have if I authorized payment the night before the cleaning? Keeping in mind that I am confrontation avoidant for the most part.
When I think of all the spoons I spent decluttering to make it possible to get this cleaning even done and these able bodied supposed professionals can’t even dust a floor lamp.
{{{Jess}}} I'm so sorry, that sounds like a nightmare. Giving meaningful feedback *is* the worst!
It is! Every writing teacher in the world agrees with you. See also, desperately trying to avoid all the meaningful feedback I need to give my students before vacation ends.
sj, I'm sorry. You're going to have to confront it to get some recourse, unfortunately, but if they sent half the people they were supposed to send, they should be willing to do a follow up cleaning.
Hec, I'm so sorry. Getting pain meds is such a freaking nightmare, and it's so stressful when someone you love needs them.
Turns out, it's a good idea if everybody is cross trained.
System redundancies are quite necessary. We try to go over The List once a year so everyone knows how to access shit.
Hec, I wish I could just pop over and do the dishes, run a load of laundry or drive to pick up kibble.
