Heat, hot water, internet, and cable for all!

Happy Birthday to Theo and Jesse! No Covid presents!

Called today because I still hadn't gotten my MRI expedited referral for my knee. My insurance claims they never got the request, so my doctor needs to call it in again. Of course, the office is closed today for the holiday, so the soonest I can call is tomorrow, and even if he calls them immediately to expedite the request, there's no way I will get it before we are supposed to leave for our little three-day anniversary vacation, so I guess maybe I'm finally get the MRI next week? Two weeks after the injury, which I may be making worse by walking on it every day? Got to love American health care.

tutorials on how to access her MyChart

I have MyChart usernames and passwords saved for Tim and my dad, across multiple health care systems (MyChart claims that it combines all the info from more than 1 health care system, but that is a lousy stinking lie). I genuinely don't know if Tim has the MyChart info for me.

We're slowly gearing up to go to the grocery store. I am absolutely exhausted after yesterday (fuck you, long Covid), but I think getting out of the house will do me some good.

My SiL made the best gift ever for Tim and his brothers -- she saved my FiL's button-down shirts after we cleaned out his room at the retirement home after he died in February, and she incorporated them into quilts. There were a few tears, including from me.

So sweet! We had wanted to do something with JZ's dad's custom tailored shirts but after the housefire that wasn't possible. I did sneak out a couple ties and a jacket for Matilda and de-smoked them myself with a charcoal pack.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

This password convo reminds me that one of the things I do this week should be making a list of key info like passwords and stuff in case of emergency.

I also have a lot of shredding and filing to do.

Do I know how to have fun, or what??

Our wings are not tired

I think NoiseDesign and I delurked the same evening while talking about it on AIM.

This is correct.

I am making this the Official Onerous Task for 2023 for all our peeps.

Also, my beloved Buffista singletons, please have a dedicated offline in-person friend or family contact for us so we can check in.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I am making this the Official Onerous Task for 2023 for all our peeps.

I'll add this to our list, along with "remodel the damn back bathroom so it's fully usable again" and "write our damn wills already I can't believe we put it off this long." Though I'll have to rename it to "making a damn list of key passwords etc..." to properly express the onerousness.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Birthday Theo and Jesse!

Got woken up at 4:30 by my phone going off.(Amber alert) Then it went off again, and again. Finally Gary put it in the computer room.

Tomorrow it's back to work. For me, at any rate, as Gary has the week off.

Thrive to spite them

Happy Birthdays to everyone!!

M's sister had pillows made from their father's old shirts and gave them to her brothers for Christmas a few years ago. It's a really nice present.

I need to make a list of passwords and info, I have a lot of it saved but I need to get that out there just in case. I also need to make sure he knows to make an announcement on FB if anything happens or message someone so they can post here. I need to find out what I should do if something happens to him.

There were a few tears, including from me.

Seconded

I am hearing everyone on the password, will, glowy box contacts in case if emergency lists. I was just saying that it was going to be a light work-work week, so I declare that I shall do all those things this week.. or start the process, anyway.

Driving home now about two hours to go. Perfectly pleasant, though. I'm not the one driving, obviously.
