That is truly wild, Brenda! And also crazy wild, JZ! I'm appreciating parking in a secured garage more at the moment.
Sweet guinea pigs, let yourselves be snuggled.
{{Matilda}} The stress in high school these days seems so much worse than in my day.
(or I just didn't care that much, also a possibility}
That must be very frustrating for the guy, JZ, but it's also very funny and would be a good running gag in a madcap comedy
I decided to stop at a coffee shop near work for breakfast this morning and only when I got there realized I didn't have my purse, but I did have my phone and they take Apple pay so that was all good, and when I got to work I found my purse on my desk where it has been since Tuesday. So that's how on top of things I am.
Man, when I woke up in the middle of the night figuring the NyQuil had worn off and determined I didn't feel like I needed another dose it felt like a triumph but now in the cold light of day it feels more like a mistake. As does being awake. Blergh.
I've never used Apple Pay. I should try that sometime.
This week DH and I started a new schedule that gives me 3 hours off in the morning to go to the beach or gym, or whatever. I'd been feeling trapped at home with working all day and him being gone to basketball in the afternoons into the evenings. So I get up at my usual 6ish, drink my coffee, and feed the animals. Then I take the dog to the park getting home by 8 to work for an hour until 9. He takes over until noon monitoring my usual work, watching my email, and phone calls. Then I am back to work noonish. He is generally off to basketball practice about 2 and may get back by 6 or 7, or much later if he has games or kids to drive home.
It has been a big help getting to walk the beach or go swimming without worrying about some doctor having an urgent issue. I don't like to exercise at night as my body has decided to be a morning body.
That sounds nice, Laura.
I am compensating with another cup of coffee, we'll see how that goes
Five people have called husband in the last half hour about a job that keeps getting posted and reposted, and every time it hits the lists, every single recruiter in the world calls.
Gosh. That seems like something he ought to be able to turn to his advantage somehow
I did suggest that. Unfortunately, he's pretty sure the company is in big trouble with the government, and he doesn't want to get in the middle of that.
Probably the smart move. Yikes
Yeah, probably would want to take a pass on that. At least it isn't Twitter, right?
