Joyce: You don't think it's too obvious? I think I look like I have a cat on my head. Buffy: But a very well groomed cat. Joyce: Well that's a comfort.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

As someone who just got a new crown yesterday, I concur.

Teeth and insurance ARE bullshit!

I had a super spendy dental year last year, and this year it's a moderately spendy orthodontia year, and next year it will be super spendy dental year again. And then this shit better be done until it's denture time.

The weather has turned cold over the last couple of days, and now I'm feeling the need for coziness. I'd use the Scandinavian work, but I can't spell it and am too lazy to look it up right this second.

I think I need to get some hot cocoa right now, though.

Almost Twice as Many Republicans Than Democrats Died From COVID Post-Vaccine. Both groups experienced a similar large spike in excess deaths in the winter of 2020-2021. However, in the summer of 2021 — after vaccines were widely available — the Republican excess death rate rose to nearly double that of Democrats, and this gap widened further in the winter of 2021.

Teeth, vision, hearing, and insurance are all bullshit. Grr.

Also the fact that every monday and Tuesday I’m frantically working and feeling drowned and then by Thursday or Friday stop giving a fuck and just can’t. Not helpful.

Because they are arrogant morons who fucked around and found out.

Concur that that is a bullshit way to have to go through a week.

I mean... 100% unsurprising and not the way I'd choose to thin the ranks of Republicans (conversion to blue and sanity would be, but the chances are remote), but also... what Steph said.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Today is turning out to be a crazy workday with TOO MUCH LITTLE CRAP, much of it caused by people not taking any steps to resolve issues themselves. I predict some very curt emails in my future.

Also frustrating, people just not responding to emailed quest because they don’t have a quick answer and do not want to be a part of a solution.

"No shit," said Jonas Salk.

Matilda is home because her menstrual cramps are so bad and she can't focus in school. She's only had one other absence all year, so I just told her to sleep in and catch up with her homework later.

Thanksgiving has completely snuck up on me this year! Even though I've looked at the calendar multiple times I was still shocked to find out it's next week.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Poor Matilda, that’s miserable.

My grandmother’s only surviving sibling is 91 and currently having surgery for a brain bleed after a fall. I guess 2022 is trying to get its last kicks in on its way out the door.

Yeah, I remember how bad cramps were in my teens and early 20s. Thank god for ibuprofen and heating pads.
