Brenda, holly hell, I'm so sorry for your neighbors and so glad there was no loss of life, but everything going up in flames... terrifying and heartrending. So, so glad your house is fine.
Laura and amyparker, that's so sad to hear.
Did not know there was a time limit in voting anywhere. Huh. And.im pretty pokey. No one has ever forcibly removed me. Yet. Could be headed that way, though, I guess.
Easy removal ~ma for Prubs... assuming that is the plan. And smooth recovery.
Going to vote after my last meeting ends at 2p-ish. I need to see what's in the ballot. I don't think there's a lot.
Three minutes seems very brief for voting!! We had ballot measures and local state reps and tons of judges (most running unopposed) and so on.
Brenda glad you’re ok but your poor neighbors!
And Laura what a bummer about your old house
One of the best things my Mom did was take lots of photos of my grandmother's house before it was sold off. I can tell by Google StreetView that the new owners have made changes, but I will always have the pictures of the house the way grandmother lived in it. I wish I'd had the sense to do the same for my Mom's house.
Oh, amyparker, that hurts my heart. I know how beloved and cared-for that place was. And ARGH, Laura! How frustrating for you and Brendon! Makes me all the more glad that we're doing our best to honor our building's history and not just boss it around.
So please tell me that one of the Buffistas has the billion dollar lottery ticket. I am really ready for Buffista Island.
Apparently it was in California so….
I never even figured out how to buy a ticket, so not me
There is a chili cook off/potluck at work next week and I am sorely tempted to bring peeps as my contribution

You have to address all your co-workers as your chili babies.
