You're talking to Serenity. And, Early... Serenity is very unhappy.

That place is fab! Would need to hire a staff to maintain it, but if I were buying it with a couple of my hundreds of millions, then I guess that's not an issue.

We were discussing what we'd do with the Powerball earlier in the week. I basically said I'd call the friend we were visiting and say, "Now what, and how much will it cost for you to handle it for me?"

I think one of the parts I would love the most is just being able to hire other people with the talent for things I don't have and pay them well to do their thing (say, design and decorate a house, or set up a foundation with my millions) and not have to try to do a substandard job myself.

I mean, I do that now with small stuff... but, you know, bigger stuff!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, excellent thought!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Gary left on a business trip today, returning tomorrow night. It's been about as delightful as expected. Waiting for Mr. S to fall asleep before I can do anything.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Daniel is coming home on Saturday!

Great news!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

> Daniel is coming home on Saturday!

Happy for you both!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Lovely breakfast, massage, and now picking up Indian takeout from a new, highly rated place, so that's promising.

Very promising!

Yay Daniel!

I'm pretty nervous about election day this year, but I'm really looking forward to the Warnock campaign no longer spamming my inbox. I've deleted over 100 emails from them just in the past week!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I'm really looking forward to the Warnock campaign no longer spamming my inbox. I've deleted over 100 emails from them just in the past week!

The other day I counted all the election-related emails I got in a 24-hour period, and it was close to 50 (I wasn't keeping track of Warnock emails specifically, but a LOT were from that campaign).
