Sounds like fun times!!

I just cooked up my last blue apron recipe for this week. And I can’t tell if my sense of smell is off, if pork usually smells that way and I just don’t normally suspiciously sniff pork, or if it’s bad. I’m leaning towards “bad” but that super sucks because now I have potatoes and peppers but no protein.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

because now I have potatoes and peppers but no protein.

This is why I keep a bag of TJ's turkey meatballs in the freezer. Which I needed to deploy with Matilda's soup because the roasted chicken had gone off.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Thank christ, Boris Johnson dropped out of the prime minister hullabaloo.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

This is why I keep a bag of TJ's turkey meatballs in the freezer.

I always have a few types of frozen protein, because it's really easy to come up with a carb-based dinner for Tim The Vegetarian, but I need protein with my dinners.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Mr. S's school had a Harvest Festival at a petting zoo/pumpkin patch about 30 minutes from here. He seemed to have a lot of fun running around with his classmates. So of course he had a meltdown on the way home. Sigh..

Our wings are not tired.

It's both a plus and minus that he feels you are a safe place to have the meltdowns. I'm sorry.

Argh. First the terrible pork, and then a terrible soccer game. My team lost, and it wasn’t even close. They looked terrible. What a bummer. I’m going to the finals next weekend and I had really hoped I’d be cheering them on!!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It won't help dinner tonight, but Blue Apron will refund or make good on the off pork.

Or they did when they sent me bad chicken once. It only happened once in the time I used them.

Well, twice but the other time was definitely me leaving the meal way too long to cook and my fault, not theirs.

It's both a plus and minus that he feels you are a safe place to have the meltdowns. I'm sorry

All of this. It's rotten for you, but he does know that you are stable and won't abandon him. You are always there for him and he knows it. Which often means he's awful to you and that sucks so much for you. (((S)))

I probably waited too long to cook it, I won’t bother to ask for money back. But I did the other week when they forgot to put the cheese in the package….to make quesadillas.
