Laura, you've probably found this already, but I think, if you are moving yourself, and have homeowner's (or, in my case, renter's) insurance, you do not need a Certificate of Insurance.
The condo board may need proof of insurance, but the COI is specifically for third party vendors who cannot otherwise be held accountable for damages to a property.
As the resident/owner, they know where you live, so to speak, liability-wise.
Thanks, beekaytee! Brendon is going to talk to them tomorrow and make sure we are all on the same page.
Brendon has also decided that he must come and help me move south again. He wants to grab some of the stuff we brought up here that won't fit in my car. So round trip drive for him of ~3000 miles. He also wants to deal with construction in progress and winterize the boat and house and so forth.
It's a quiet Monday in here.
I’ve been working on a 5-10 minute presentation for my interview on Wednesday. Right now it’s looking closer to 15. At least I feel like I can speak to the proposed topic.
Sending the interview~ma in advance. It sounds like you are very comfortable with the expectations.
DH isn't coming until the 31st so it will be a chilly couple of weeks here. I got my most recent electric bill today, and, Yikes! The thing I need to call them about is that it says 'Non Heat', which indicates to me that they have a different system for people who heat with electric. Umm, I didn't go from ~600 kWh over the summer to over 2,400 kWh if I wasn't using my electric to heat this place. So, maybe a credit can happen? Anyway, if it is a choice of freezing my butt off or paying a bunch for warmth, then I know my decision. Hopefully the place will be insulated better by next year which will make a big difference. That said, it was 31 outside when I went to the gym yesterday morning. eta: still likely better than the people heating with oil
TJ's Pumpkin Blondies are delicious and would recommend... but they ain't blondies. They're really good pumpkin bread.
Trader Joe’s was out of the maple popcorn yesterday and when I asked about it they said they ordered more but it won’t be there until next week?!? Boo. Massive booooo.
Also boo to work just because I am still not fabulously wealthy somehow, and that seems unfair.
^That and no pumpkin butter at my TJs both seem extremely unfair.
My friend, D, is staying with us for a few days while his floors are redone. It's fun! He's one of the two people I "work from Zoom" (WFZ) with a lot during the week -- we keep each other company. We joked that it was like live Zoom. Anyway, nice to have a loooooonnnnngtime friend around for chatting and stuff.
Other than that, I have so much to get done this week. Yikes.
Stay warm, Laura!
Interview ~ma coming your way, Callie.
