I'm pretty sure your therapist is going to give you a Gold Star for that.

Gold stars indeed. I used to have the nurturing caretaker gene, but I think I used it all up or something because I don't have it anymore. I do hope his recovery is going well.
Looks like we are on for a close on the 25th for the condo. I'm trying to get DH my color choices and such all together so he can do as much as possible before I get there with the animals.
Tim's been napping for most of the day, thanks to his meds.* This means I'm actually getting some work done. So my caretaking today consists of making sure he takes his meds on time and gets some food in him. Today's big goal is a shower. It's a gorgeous fall day again and it would be nice for him to sit on the porch, but he desperately needs sleep. There will be other nice fall days for the porch.
*The hospital pharmacy automatically includes a Narcan prescription when a patient has an opioid prescription at discharge, which makes sense now that I think about it.
His body must really need that rest to recover.
Sad to see that Angela Lansbury has died. She was such a delight. Particularly adored her in Sweeny Todd.
I’m glad Tim is recovering well, Tep.
Good job, Tim and Steph!
Tim requested pumpkin pancakes for dinner, so who am I to say no to that? We also took a very short walk to the corner (like 5 minutes). Next up is a shower. We already had a shower chair after Tim’s heart surgery, so that’s all set. Then more oxycodone in 45 minutes.
Timelies all!
I'm glad Tim's recovery is going well, Steph.
That all sounds very good
I went and visited a fancy little grocery that's near work and spent too much money on cheese and whatnot (mostly cheese). As I was checking out, the owner (I think that's who it was) complimented my selection of cheese and says she also likes a variety and I told her the difficulty was not taking everything she had to offer, so I think we are friends now. Can't afford to go there very often, sadly, but it will be a nice occasional treat, I think.
