Mac has an interview at Aldi tomorrow at 10:30, so all positiveness that can be sent would be appreciated.
Sending all the ~ma. How is he doing adapting in general?
Sending happy belly vibes to Shelby.
Boob~ma in general, because boobs.
-I literally got the note in my patient portal before I got home, saying "looks good, come back next year"
They held me in the waiting room and came out to say all's well, which I thought was nice. Used to have to wait for a postcard in the mail.
Oh, Shelby pupper, keep getting better!
I release any boob~ma that came my way back into the world: the "Good news, they're not trying to kill you just at the moment" letter arrived Monday.
Jim's new desktop is here. I fear for the office circuit breaker. (He was like a little kid yesterday, constantly refreshing the UPS "track your delivery" map. I didn't know whether to smile fondly or yeet him off the balcony into the harbor.)
Keep getting better doggo!
I hope the mammogram goes well. I had the -- you need an ultrasound! now you need a mammogram! --ok everything is fine. So hopefully that's how things go.
Found out, accidentally, at work our insurance is switching to United. I don't like United because of past issues but it's supposed to be cheaper. And I hope so because I can't our BCBS plan is really unaffordable for retail.
The big walk through at work was the #2 person in the company , plus the regional manager's boss and someone else. They looked at our store, then checked out the Dillard's and Macy's to see the competition. They really liked certain things about they want some more things moved, the team that does most of that was in the break room when I got off and so I was listening to all that.
Actually it started off talking about Little Mermaid, segued into Wakanda Forever, and then fandom in general- DragonCon, Supernatural, Charmed, all kinds of things.

I wasn't feeling 100% this morning so I decided to wfh and nap and use sick time if I ended up not working the whole day. Just really minor side effects from vax, but I have a lot off sick time available for use and I really wanted to sleep. I was starting to feel like I was malingering so I actually sat up and did the one thing that really has a hard deadline of today, it took like haf an hour and I am wiped out so I am going back to bed. Being vertical is for chumps.
Wow, busy season is back in force. I've been doing very late nights on an event that opens tonight, and all sorts of other calls are coming in for projects. Hopefully we can take on a good portion of them.
Get some good rest and feel better, -t.
Hopefully we can take on a good portion of them.
Strike while the iron is hot, hopefully without killing yourself.
And there’s the text that my car is ready. Have to coordinate with my parents so mom can give dad a ride and I can give him back his car when I pick up mine , so it’ll be a couple of hours, but the money part is all ready to go. Whew!
Timelies all!
Ugh, last night ended up being a bit of a shitshow with Mr. S. We got through dinner ok, then he decided he needed to go to the ER for his cold. I tried to tell him we have meds here, and the ER wasn't going to be able to do anything different. He went into a violently aggressive meltdown, hitting and spitting on me and throwing things. I finally agreed to take him there so he would take his normal evening meds. Got there around 8 and got looked at around 8:30. They didn't find anything we didn't already know, so we were out of there around 9:30, but not before he had another meltdown. When we got home he agreed to take Benadryl for his stuffed up nose, and fell asleep just before 10.
I hope tonight and the rest of the nights until Gary gets back go better.(Gary returns on Sunday) I woke up early this morning and couldn't get back to sleep because I was stressed.
Ugh, may the next few days go easier, Sheryl.
I tested positive last Friday, took the drugs, and waited patiently to test again this morning. Negative! Woo! I was worried it might hang around a while.
