That’s good, Scrappy.

I spent today clearing out two big shelves full of random crap in one of my bookcases. Now I have one shelf 2/3s full of fairly specific crap and the rest of the space filled with board games. I’ve been thinking about doing this since COVID became a thing, and 10 months later finally got around to it.

Scrappy, starting 2021 by getting rid of that infection is an excellent way to start the new year!

I keep saying I'll clean out my closet on New Year's Day. We'll see if I follow through on that.

Calli, you give me hope that I might possibly get to any of the many many things I could have and have not been doing all this time. Well done!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have this janky closet situation, and finally ordered some brackets and a rod to create a more normal situation, and they finally came, and none of the pieces work together! Like, the brackets don't fit into what I currently have, and the rod doesn't fit into the brackets. Oh well. I give up, I guess.

That sounds like something The Container Store would love to help you with

Or maybe Ikea.

Or Closet World? They may be local, I don't know

I was hoping to have a tiny solution, not the full re-vamp it actually needs. Basically, I have a weird narrow but deep closet, so I have shelves like this [link] along the two side walls and I have to hang my clothes in the little squares. I would rather have a rod! Maybe I will keep googling.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I finally cleaned my kitchen counters and did some reorganizing to get more counter space yesterday, but only because my mom and sister are sending me a KitchenAid stand mixer for my birthday and I didn't have anywhere to put it. I also ordered frames for some of the art that's been sitting around for ages because there was a sale.

Will I actually get to the giant stack of paperwork sitting on my bedroom floor literally next to the filing box where it belongs? Maybe!

Oooh, stand mixer! That's exciting.

OK, I think this might be it. [link]

I could really stand to do that. It would make getting back into bread making easier, and I keep thinking I’d like to try some new things in that area.
