My father is exhausting. He's been on a higher dose of the antipsychotic for a week now, and he told me last night that he's seeing the hallucinations less, and some days he doesn't see them at all. That sounded like improvement, until he told me that there are important things he can't tell me over the phone, because the hallucination people have tapped his phone. And he got angry at me when I said that that's not true, because the hallucination people aren't real. So that sure sounds like he needs the antipsychotic dose increased.
The NP at the geriatrician wanted me to message her after a week to let her know how he's doing on the antipsychotic, so at least I have something entertaining to tell her.
Also, after all the ice cream posts, I want ice cream with sprinkles on top.
Great problems call for Graeter solutions, Tep.

(1) True! and (2) Well played. (Plus we only have Halo Top in the freezer, for Tim, which I don't begrudge because limiting his sugar helps his RA pain, but I don't care for Halo Top. At least he knows I'll never steal it.)
Me today:

GD IT BREATHE MFer!
Which is to say Mac is not being great about responding to texts and my cousin is set to show up tomorrow to god knows what to pack up a trailer of stuff to storage and then Mac is to be on a plane the next morning. And if that actually happens I’m going to be shocked.
My most positive thoughts being sent in the direction of both you and Mac and everyone trying to help. That's a lot.
C'mon, Mac! It's hard enough arranging a move long distance. You've got to stay in touch.
Our contractor, Landis, is here and we went over the lengthy "punch list" of things that need to be done which got put off because of the window restoration. The exciting news is that he expects all four new light fixtures can go in today, plus removing one door and a chin-up bar in my office doorway (which used to be a middle-teen's bedroom). Maybe some plaster repair in the stairwell and securing some cables too. Getting the mirror back on the vanity might be trickier.
Landis' response to every request: "No problem!"
Calm~ma, msbelle.
Tons of ice cream for Teppy.
I’m sorting through ltc’s clothes. So I can bring hand me downs to vw’s Stitch tomorrow. TCG is culling ltc’s books while she’s not here to freak out about it.
Oof, Tep. Well, at least you know the situation. Aside from the hallucinations tapping his phone (which is bad enough), youd dad having important things he can't tell you is ominous and disturbing.
{{msbelle}} yes with the breathing, keep that up
Sending a wide and expansive set of ~ma to Teppy and msbelle. Kids! Parents!
