Our contractor, Landis, is here and we went over the lengthy "punch list" of things that need to be done which got put off because of the window restoration. The exciting news is that he expects all four new light fixtures can go in today, plus removing one door and a chin-up bar in my office doorway (which used to be a middle-teen's bedroom). Maybe some plaster repair in the stairwell and securing some cables too. Getting the mirror back on the vanity might be trickier.

I’m sorting through ltc’s clothes. So I can bring hand me downs to vw’s Stitch tomorrow. TCG is culling ltc’s books while she’s not here to freak out about it.

What are the plans for the long weekend?
I'm going to have to do a lot of work, but really hope to get some play time in. At least catching up on some tv or something. Looks like tomorrow is supposed to be beautiful, then Sunday afternoon and Monday may be rainy. We shall see. The weather forecast here is only reliable for about 15 minutes into the future.
Work, but two plans for dinner, one including movie with friends.
And lots of chilling.
We'll be under an excessive heat warning, so I'll be mostly lying in front of a fan trying to move as little as possible. Maybe go to the movies. Ice cream may be consumed.

Dancing tonight if I can get myself in gear. Maybe seeing a friend tomorrow, it’s her birthday and her parents are in town. Invited to a beach thing Sunday, not sure if I’ll go. No plans Monday. Would love to get some house stuff (organizing etc) done so if anyone wants to zoom/FaceTime some body doubling let me know!
Nephew's memorial on Sunday in Orange County. Weather will be gross, so emotional and physical feeling awful. My aunt from Michigan is coming in for the memorial so I'm going to try to go back up on Monday to get some quality time with her. She's in SoCal until the 7th, but thanks to kabillions of Dr appts, I don't have vacation time available to spend with her. I'm using my 1 day of Bereavement on Tuesday to recover from Sunday & Monday.
ION, I was just unhooked about an hour ago from chemo infusion #8 (of 8!). Still have a few more hurdles to go on this path, but that's one more cleared!
