Thrive to spite them

I have made a follow up video appointment iwth my primary care dr. Who I've really only seen once but seemed ok.

I am feeling somewhat better but thought I should try the steroid that the ER prescribed and then realized...I don't know where it is. I may have accidentally thrown it out. I don't know because the last few days are a blur.

The inhaler seems to be working but I wasn't sure if the steroid would work better. I'm also very very fatigued and my arms and legs end up feeling shaky like baby kitten trying to wobble it's way around. Or maybe not that bad but I just feel weak. So I want to ask the dr about that and also the whole- hey I'm only working 3 hours a day but I'm not sure I can stand up./stay awake for that. What should I do?

I also haven't Skype'd with E since before I got sick and I miss him. I'll try to call him today and see if we can chat .

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I’m the only one in my division in the office today and I do not feel like working at all. I have set up two meetings for my boss and answered my emails and that seems like more than enough to me.

Bah on this whole working stuff.

Punctuating that just looks wrong, so I'm not going to

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My last few weeks have been very leisurely, work-wise. Lots of people out on vacation, not much self motivation.

I am starting my transition to my new role or tasks or whatever this week. Supposedly, anyway. The thing that worries me is I'm not giving up any of current tasks for a couple of months, just learning new stuff. I have had a lot of slack time, honestly, so it will probably be fine but I will certainly miss the slack time. And maybe by January I will actually know what my job is, which would be nice.

Getting new things without giving up the old is BS, -t!! Hope it works out.

I tried to get breakfast and coffee, and the first place I went was closed mondays. I ended up at the coop grocery nearby getting stuff from their hot bar. Work has a lot to catch up on for me being gone only one day!! Which makes me less wanting to work, right now. :(

(Interestingly I think I might know the author third hand, as a friend’s ex’s new partner (though not new because it was 20 years ago but whatever. Because of course)

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Good luck with that -t.

askye I really hope you get some relief.

Happy birthday weekend meara! I’ve been trying to get away camping but it turned out to be in the 90s this weekend so just as well. We got cheated out of a big storm that hit all around us last night. Not here though.

There is, as far as I can tell, no difference whatsoever between grits and polenta except what you call them.

We grew up with a third variety, cornmeal mush. Boiled, chilled, sliced and fried, often with bits of pork. Served with butter and or syrup. Anyone else have this? It was a favorite from my New Jersey side.
