I actually make a really good homemade pumpkin and sausage ravioli, that I serve with sage brown butter. It's one of my favorite fall dishes, but I only make it for company because it's very rich.

Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
That sounds amazing
Timelies all!
Another downside of Mr. S's refusal to go to sleep before 9 is that Gary and I haven't been able to watch anything off the DVR(we have several episodes of The Flash and Superman & Lois left), never mind any of the any things on streaming services we want to see. Sigh...
Vortex that sounds good.
Steph sending lots of ma to you.
Sheryl, ltc doesn’t fall asleep before 9 now either. Luckily she stays awake in her room After 8. So we still get in an hour or so of TV a night. We caught up on a bunch of stuff this week while she was at her grandparents.
sj, unfortunately Mr. S wants someone with him until he falls asleep. (usually, Gary)
I had a telehealth appointment and got the covid antiviral..I can't remember how to spell it...the dr asked me if I had tightness in my chest or difficulty breathing and I said no just some achiness like if I had been coughing a lot. Which I've barely done.
Except since then I keep thinking...well it sometimes does feel hard to breath but my nose is conjested and do I feel pressure?
And I've had a lot more dizziness/vertigo but that seems to be a covid thing as well so...I am back to to 0 days without dizziness. Which sucks.
That's tough, Sheryl. I'm so sorry. It's close to 10 and ltc is still awake. The first day of school is going to be fun.

I made Greek Mac n Cheese tonight. Which is pasta shells in a cheese sauce made of cream, Greek yogurt, feta, parm (highly seasoned with garlic & oregano) and tossed with baby spinach.
Matilda has gone Full Hermione this year as on the daily she is coming home and reporting how she has challenged her teachers until they are sweaty and uncomfortable. Emmett didn't hit this phase until he was in his third year of college.
It's like watching a catalytic element hit her brain and suddenly All Brain Cells are activated.
She wasn't like this last year. All of sudden she's Take No Prisoners: "Obviously, bruh!"
I suspect her grades might go down because she will tire her teachers out, but I don't really care.
She's become intellectually ferocious.
I mean, she got into a fight with her English teacher after he gave her a good grade and noted "very intuitive" on her textual analysis because he crossed out "pensive" on her friend's analysis.
(Which is very in-character for her that she's more likely to start a conflict defending one of her friends.)
