Enjoy! This bus has charging outlets, hooray! This morning’s might have as well, I didn’t think to look
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
This is from the otherday that I put in the wrong thread-- I had a disastrous neurology appointment. It started with her telling me after 8 months I still shouldn't have fatigue and I should be able to work full time.
I finally mentioned stuff I hadn't been able to the last times because of too much of her talking or last time her and the case worker. She finally did a kind of cognitive test. I did well on it but because I had mentioned memory problems and was getting upset she said she'd try to refer me to neuro psych test. I eventually got frustrated and asked why she didn't do it back in March and she said I didn't mention memory problems. But since it was just some questions and filling out a clock face it wasn't time consuming and I w9uld think someone had a concussion a dr would want a baseline of their cognitive function .
She is going to refer me to another neurologist and I sent an email to my lawyers.
I'm seeing the lawyer tomorrow.
I hate this whole unemployment and concussion process. Although today I worked 4 hours today and did okay, I'm working 4 hours tomorrow and thurs and then have fri and sat off. I'm going to see how I do and I want to change my work hours but I also don't want to deal the neurologist again
Timelies all!
Back home now. It's been a long day and I'll be glad to sleep in my own bed tonight.
Y’all, that last half mile walking home from the restaurant nearly killed me. So tired. It’s 96 F now, probably hotter when I started.

Maybe you need an electric scooter with an electric fan on your face. And a mist making machine.
That's my useful advice.
Taking notes
I think the NYTimes had an article recently about how golf carts are the real future of transportation. Just sayin’, -t!
I am trying to decide if it’s worth it to drive down to Portland (about 3 hours) on Saturday to watch some very good womens soccer. And maybe get autographs. I would really like the autographs but it’s not super likely they’ll happen. But it’s international teams that I won’t likely see again! But also a long drive down and back for soccer of teams I don’t particularly root for, and while I have one friend going I couldn’t sit with her during the game (she already has tickets) so….on the other hand I have zero other plans for Saturday???
Hm. Can you make the autograph getting more likely?
A golf cart would probably be easier to fit up with a misting fan than a scooter. It all goes in the idea maelstrom and, who knows, someday I may act on something related to it!
I think we're finally going to start Ted Lasso tonight.
Excellent plan. We haven't finished it yet. Still in queue, but really enjoyable. Except DH suffering over the Daddy issues.

Handy.

Yes, you need more engaged care to progress.

The very good soccer part sounds like a big plus.
shrift and I watched all of Ted Lasso S2 this weekend. (I had seen it, she mostly hadn't.) It was awesome.
