Y’all, that last half mile walking home from the restaurant nearly killed me. So tired. It’s 96 F now, probably hotter when I started.
Maybe you need an electric scooter with an electric fan on your face. And a mist making machine.
That's my useful advice.
I think the NYTimes had an article recently about how golf carts are the real future of transportation. Just sayin’, -t!
I am trying to decide if it’s worth it to drive down to Portland (about 3 hours) on Saturday to watch some very good womens soccer. And maybe get autographs. I would really like the autographs but it’s not super likely they’ll happen. But it’s international teams that I won’t likely see again! But also a long drive down and back for soccer of teams I don’t particularly root for, and while I have one friend going I couldn’t sit with her during the game (she already has tickets) so….on the other hand I have zero other plans for Saturday???
Hm. Can you make the autograph getting more likely?
A golf cart would probably be easier to fit up with a misting fan than a scooter. It all goes in the idea maelstrom and, who knows, someday I may act on something related to it!
I think we're finally going to start Ted Lasso tonight.
Excellent plan. We haven't finished it yet. Still in queue, but really enjoyable.
Except DH suffering over the Daddy
issues.
This bus has charging outlets, hooray!
Handy.
She is going to refer me to another neurologist and I sent an email to my lawyers.
Yes, you need more engaged care to progress.

The very good soccer part sounds like a big plus.
shrift and I watched all of Ted Lasso S2 this weekend. (I had seen it, she mostly hadn't.) It was awesome.
askye, I meant to say, that's so disappointing that your neurologist isn't working well with you after you had to wait so long to see anyone!
August 17th is the first day of school for Matilda, and now she is a junior.
FB tells me that Aug. 17 was also the first day of school last year, and in 4th grade.
I think one year we had it as early as August 12th. That was rough.
Good luck to all the teachers and students on the coming year.
Golf carts are the preferred transportation alternative in the rural South. Or sometimes just suburban south.
-t I knew it wasn't a great fit but I was trying to be ok with it. But when she asks if I'm off workers comp and then commented about who was paying instead of ...knowing if I had or at least asking if I was ok...that just...I wanted to walk out at that point.
Yeah, that sounds pretty bad
I don't think I've ever ridden in a golf cart. Perhaps I have and I've forgotten. They have not been a commonplace vehicle in my life, though. I have seen some, I'm pretty sure, at a distance...
