Jayne (Husband): Oh, I think you might wanna reconsider that last part. See, I married me a powerful ugly creature. Mal (Wife): How can you say that? How can you shame me in front of new people? Jayne (Husband): If I could make you purtier, I would. Mal (Wife): You are not the man I met a year ago.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I think that we need to be realistic that he will not serve time. The DOJ will allow him to plead guilty and serve under house arrest, for security reasons. We will have to be content with him being disqualified to serve in federal office again. Which would not prevent him from running for governor of Florida, however. But, then, they deserve him.

If he can't serve in federal office again, I'll be happy with that result.

Because books.

Thank you, Vortex and Hec!

Keeping Trump from federal office would be enough for me. I'd love to see him in prison, but the security issue would probably prevent that. Unfortunately.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

So it's a daunting day already.

Anne Heche is being taken off life support, Salman Rushdie got stabbed in the neck, and one of my Kenyon acquaintances died unexpectedly (and I suspect suicide).

I'm sorry to hear about your college friend, Hec. That's hard.

He wasn't close. He was somebody I met at the first reunion, and got so notoriously drunk at the event that he had to be bailed out of jail. But he had been a reporter whose job had dried up several years ago. Not married. And I think he was just lonely and hopeless.

I'm sorry about your friend, Daivd.

I am confident that Garland will act when he has an open and shut case.

I like this response to GOP moaning about not seeing the warrant yet. [link]

Which would not prevent him from running for governor of Florida, however. But, then, they deserve him.

Oh, please let Trump and DeSantis devour one another in a fight for FL power!

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Apparently someone shared the warrant with Breitbart? WTF. Twitter is claiming the statutes referenced on the warrant relate to obstruction of justice and espionage. The mind reels.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Disqualified for federal office works for me.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

The Breitbart version doesn't redact a lot of things that it should, like the agent names.
