"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The one thing that has kept me from getting a soda stream is that I like seltzer that has flavor without adding calories or artificial sweetener, and I don't know how I would recreate that on my own.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I love my SodaStream. And it's held up for 13 years so far.

Like fruit flavors? SodaStream has those, with no sugar and no artificial sweetener: [link]

Neat! I did not realize they had that.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Thanks, 2020. Love wondering if I can't smell and taste things because of covid or just because my entire face is congested. Pretty sure it's the congestion.

Yikes Dana. Good luck.

I felt like I was doing so well, hadn’t had hardly any migraines but now I’ve had like three in the past week. Mild, which is good, but I feel like it’s seasonal and they’ll just keep being terrible for the next couple months. Not sure why—light? Vitamin D? Something I’m allergic to? Ugh. Good news is my doc put more on my rx when I needed it refilled last time. Not sure if she meant to or not but my insurance approved it, so I at least don’t have to worry about running out (though I also don’t want rebounds, but this way I can have a pill stashed in a few different places, or take two if needed, which I’m allowed to do).

I have a soda stream. I think it’s great except remembering to get mew canisters is a pain. And eventually the bottles get kind of gross, but you can buy new ones.

Dana, I'm hoping it is just the congestion.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Interesting article about the BioNTech/Pfizer SARS-CoV-2 vaccine, "also known as BNT162b2, also known as Tozinameran also known as Comirnaty."

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The first thing I did this morning was to find something in the fridge to test my nose. (Sour cream.)

What is even happening?

And?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

No gifts this year (we bought a chest freezer instead). However festivity abounded as we did our usual Xmas Movie day virtually. We added zoom meeting between movies and were not really expecting anyone but family to show up, but quite a few friends joined in. it was delightful to see our NYC friends chatting with our LA and Detroit friends and everyone digging each other. We watched WW84, The Bee Gees documentary and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. All in all, a lovely day.
