Thrive to spite them

Oh and I found out the high school seasonal part timer who is in her last week (well next week is her last week) got 35 hours. I have no idea how that happened but me and most full time people got 29-31 hours. I mentioned it to , actually the covid coworker who is really nice and a team leader--just in passing but they both thought that was bullshit. Maybe she doesn't really have 35 hours but it is fucking bullshit that a teenager seasonal worker gets more hours than most of the full time people.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I had a big fat lazy day. Watched movies/tv and painted nails and just had a delivery made to the parents.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Happy birthday, Jesse!

I am glad to read that so many of you are resting this holiday. Especially in this year, rest is very important.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

News on the AstraZeneca vaccine. "Update on Oxford/AZ vaccine- UK approval in coming days, aims to vaccinate 2 million with Oxford or Pfizer within 2 weeks. 8-10x cheaper than Pfizer, keeps in fridge, vaccine type safe in children, the elderly and people with pre-existing conditions. Shows 95% efficacy & is “100% effective” in preventing severe illness, says AZ CEO."

I haven't seen an unlocked article yet, but this is sourced on Twitter.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Does anybody here have a SodaStream device? Do you use it a lot and would recommend it? R, the roommate, expressed a desire not to be schlepping huge bottles of soda around (she mostly drinks flavored seltzer anyway), and it would make a decent late Xmas gift, I think, but I know not much of the carbonated world.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Love my SodaStream! Excellent gift.

Is it just me or does Pedro Pascal seriously resemble Nathan Fillion?

Sometimes, yeah

I loved mine and used it all the time. I don't drink much carbonated stuff anymore, but, yeah, if bubbly water is her thing, it's a great gift.

Trudy, I said the same thing to my DP. It was uncanny during a few parts of WW. The delivery was eerily similar sometimes.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The one thing that has kept me from getting a soda stream is that I like seltzer that has flavor without adding calories or artificial sweetener, and I don't know how I would recreate that on my own.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I love my SodaStream. And it's held up for 13 years so far.

Like fruit flavors? SodaStream has those, with no sugar and no artificial sweetener: [link]
