Yeah, glad you’re doing ok msbelle!
I am still camping in a tent but yes, knowing there is a cabin with A/C is key (and not going the first day, which i never planned to, so if the rest go “hell no” I don’t have to drive). Apparently I was not the only one who looked at the temp and went “ummmm”
Thanks y’all.
Epic- so sorry about your cousin. Glad the chemo remains tolerable and fingers crossed the drain comes out soon
Timelies all!
We have a cherry tomato plant that is now producing ripe tomatoes. So far, two have ripened and been eaten by Mr. S.
Good to hear you are doing well, msbelle.
Epic, I am sorry, and understand your mixed emotions on your cousin. Good that the communication is better with your health care team on the drain.
Mmmm, tomatoes! Enjoy.
Downstairs is 80 degrees and rising because one of the A/C units is out. Thankfully we still have a second story with a working A/C. But I am grumpy.
Further note: When it's 100 degrees outside, it's really easy to overheat quickly.
Is now a good time to mention it was in the 40s when I got up this morning, and is currently 68, probably the high for the day? This is why I leave Florida in the summer. I turn on the space heater this morning and heated the seat in my car when I drove to the gym!
eta: Dana is going to unfriend me, I just know it

Yeah, when it was nearly 100 here on Sunday, I went out to play with my band, carrying a bottle of water. I also bought an iced drink on the way. I basically finished the iced drink before I was done with the 15-minute walk, and finished my water half-way through the session! Luckily, other people had brought water to share, so I did make it home alive. (Do we have any other brass players here? Nothing came out of my spit valve the whole time!!)
Whoa, nothing coming out of the spit valve is scary!
