Saw Pacific Rim for the first time over the weekend and I found it really entertaining, just a slick, fun movie that doesn't take itself too seriously.
I love Pacific Rim. It's one of my comfort movies.
Can't drink, smoke, diddle my willy. Doesn't leave much to do other than watch you blokes stumble around playing Agatha Christie.

Thanks to Tom Scola, whenever I wonder what to have for lunch, I realize the answer is burrito. Sadly, I almost never have a burrito.

I made JZ a greek salad for lunch yesterday, augmented with leftovers from the Greek restaurant we went to over the weekend, so Tiropita (baked filo triangles with cheese inside) and some fancy Greek dips (one Feta & Cream cheese, and one made with fish roe that was basically a little umami bomb).

I went with a BBQ sampler plate with pasta salad and coleslaw because the a/c is still wonky here and cold sides sounded good. I'll need to do a dedicated survey of nearby burritos at some point.
