Our wings are not tired.

I love everyone in this bar

back at ya

Gotta make summer happen!!!

Woooot!

Oh dear, Dana. No going back to sleep after that.

And good grief, I started this a while ago and just found it still open. Flying home tomorrow, but going to the health clinic today. So annoyed and frustrated, but I'm pretty sure I have an umbilical hernia. The worst part of this irony is that I am flying home tomorrow because DH is having his (far far worse) hernia fixed. It isn't so bad I have to rush to the ER or anything, but it hurt for a couple days all across my middle, then yesterday consolidated in the center, with a nice hard bump and warm pink circle. I rode in my sister's car to visit nephew and family at a campground and watch a bonfire for a couple hours and was nauseous the whole ride to and from. It isn't as bad today, but since I am flying tomorrow I should have it looked at. Haven't said a word to DH, and won't unless I have to. Oh bodies, why you be this way?

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I guess it's warm enough for the Canadians to set up their hammocks

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Heh.

Oh no, Laura. Like you guys don't have enough to deal with!

I'm vaguely worried about getting covid from the wakes last weekend, but every time I think about it, I get a sore throat, so I don't think that's an actual symptom.

Yikes Laura that does not seem good! Good luck.

I like the Canadian hammock. I need to get my own hammock out…

Ouch, Laura. Yeah, having it looked at is the thing to do. What a pain in the... well, abdomen I'm sorry.

I have no current Covid fears, but that's when I'll end up with it probably.

Cindy! Lovely to see you. Hope you and family are doing well.

I loved -t's meal and drink reportage!

Successfully went for a run outside (not on a treadmill!) and then went to breakfast before picking up my car. So that feels like a complete day already and I haven't started work yet. I am already planning on slacking hard as far as work-work goes.

And I just discovered that I have been walking around with my shirt on inside out all morning. Well, at least I'm not in the office.

That does sound like a day's worth.

You've got to plan ahead.

I kind of wanted to get back to my routines after my birthday but the painters are coming this morning to do Matilda's room (after she goes to work), and I'm realizing how much it nails my ass to the chair awaiting contractors and deliveries and whatnot.

I haven't run for almost two weeks but was getting more than my usual share of steps and flights walked while moving. But I'd like to figure out how my run routine will work now that I'm further (by ten minutes) from the stadium.

Changes to routine are hard! I am confident you'll figure it out. Exciting to have Matilda's room painted!

I keep seeing local bands with intriguing names who turn out to be Yacht Rock. Maybe I will actually go see one of them. Yachtley Crew is a great f-ing name, but their gigs are too expensive to go to just to satisfy my curiosity. Now I've run across I am the Octopus and I have even less idea of what to expect from them but there appears to be no cover where they are playing although it is across a bridge and out of the way to get to. I should probably just go to the lounge that's a couple blocks away and listen to whoever happens to play there rather than be drawn far afield by these intriguing names. If I were to go out, that is.
