Separately, SCOTUS did it.
I feel like I can't breathe right now
Same. I'm numb and I can see the panic attack on the horizon.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Heartbroken about this court. Damn Mitch Mcconnell to hell.
Less devastating but still annoying news: Nathan Fillion says Joss was always fine with him! [link]
Nathan Fillion says Joss was always fine with him!
Aw, dude, no.
Nathan Fillion says Joss was always fine with him!
Well I feel better, don't you?
I’m on Paxlovid. Damn the literature included is scary. I should probably not have read it.
Nathan Fillion says Joss was always fine with him!
Of course.
On the one hand, I've already become terribly disillusioned about this country and my fellow Americans.
OTOH, I also feel like this is undemocratic unpopular right-wing coup that doesn't represent the interests or will of the American people.
I would really like the Democratic party to go to war with the Republican party, and that doesn't mean socialism, Bernie Bros. Just defend the country itself from the Christian Nationalists who are not the majority but are eager to shape the country in their image.
The choice is not between Biden (wants to play nice with Republicans) or Bernie (socialism for white people without any sense of intersectionality). I would really like to see somebody like Klobuchar's centrist stance that will vigorously protect women, civil rights and voting rights.
Clarence Thomas has already declared in his opinion that the court should "revisit" (rescind) gay marriage. The right to privacy basis that at the core of Roe are also at the core of gay rights and interracial marriage and contraception.

He explicitly named the SCOTUS cases that decided the right to contraception, the right to same-sex marriage, and the right to same-sex activity/relationships -- but he neglected to name Loving v Virginia, which decided the right to interracial marriage. Convenient for his own interracial marriage, no? How can that motherfucker believe he's exempt? Does he not get that there is a substantial amount of people who are cheering Roe v Wade being overturned who *also* would be very happy to to back to when he was considered 3/5 of a person?
Happy Belated birthdays!
