Jayne (Husband): Oh, I think you might wanna reconsider that last part. See, I married me a powerful ugly creature. Mal (Wife): How can you say that? How can you shame me in front of new people? Jayne (Husband): If I could make you purtier, I would. Mal (Wife): You are not the man I met a year ago.

Our wings are not tired.

Thanks for the update, Epic. It is good to hear that treatment is going pretty well. Yeah, the surgical drain is super annoying, and alas it varies widely from person to person how long it takes to be done with its usefulness. This too shall pass!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Late last night I started getting a fever and chills very late in the evening last night, and guess who has Covid? TCG and ltc are testing negative. So I’m going to go quarantine in the spare bedroom for at least five days. My doctor called in an antiviral.

That sucks! Jeez, it's not like you've been a social butterfly either.

Oh I am sorry, sj. I really hope the symptoms are mild and that TCG and ltc remain negative.

Separately, SCOTUS did it. I don't know how this is going to work out. Maybe a shift to the left in the midterms? Maybe expanding the courts? I really want this to go away.

I don’t go anywhere! And I mask when I do. I’m so annoyed. Dave is unearthing the spare bed for me right now and I’m collecting all my devices and some book and magazines.

Fucking SCOTUS. The court needed to be expanded to prevent this. We knew it and nothing happened.

Well, since SCOTUS has made it clear that stare decisis doesn't mean anything to them, getting rid of a couple of justices and appointing better is really all that's needed. That or constitutional amendments that explicitly say what is necessary.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I am heartbroken and angry on your behalf, U.S.ians. I am so sorry.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Late last night I started getting a fever and chills very late in the evening last night, and guess who has Covid?

Oh no! I am so sorry.

Separately, SCOTUS did it.

I feel like I can't breathe right now, I am in such a state of shock and horror. Not shock as in surprise, just...well it was nice having civil rights for a while, wasn't it?
