Did I ever tell you that one of the vets here played Charlie in the Willy Wonka movie in 1971 when he was 12?
Wow! I knew that the actor went on to become a vet, but didn't know that he was your vet! (Or would be if you had horses and cows.) Cool!
I'm in ugh mode on renovations.
We have to find a contractor to renovate our bathroom, and while that's being done, Tim wants to get the plumber in to do some fixes/possible re-pipe work, and all I can think of is Buffy yelling "No more full copper re-pipe!" But I will be thrilled to have our weird little bathroom renovated into something more useful and less bathtub-y (the bathroom is very very small, and the cast-iron pedestal tub takes up A LOT of real estate; we only ever shower, so we need to get rid of the tub entirely in favor of a nice roomy shower enclosure with a seat, given that we are getting old and sometimes body parts stop working properly [and, Tim pointed out, sometimes you're just tired and want to sit down while you wash your Rapunzel hair]).
Happy wedding eve!
Sending healing and coping and safety and self-care ~ma to Sheryl and Gary and Mr. S.
Ugh, Tom, I'm so sorry. Careful, distanced hugs.

Oh wow!
Hope you don't feel too bad, Tom.
Happy wedding eve, Jen!!!
Happy Wedding Eve, Jen!
And so many hugs or comforting, socially distanced waves to everyone who needs them.
It's Wedding Eve for us.
Awww. I'm so glad you have found a non-stressful way to manage it! EtA I feel like you should leave out milk and cookies for, IDK, someone. Wedding Fairy?

I! I had read somewhere that he was a vet now, but he's your vet! Sort of. Exciting!

How exciting! I knew he was a vet but had the notion he was in the UK.
My friend Ellen lives in Lake Carmel, NY and Jim Dale is a regular customer at the farmstand where she works. You never know what celebrities you're going to run into in upstate NY.
Timelies all!
Happy Wedding Eve!
Another part of the stress is not knowing how they are treating Mr. S. Gary's been trying to set up a family Zoom meeting with the doctors, but no luck so far.
Oh Sheryl much ma to you!
Happy Burthday Javachik!
Happy Wedding Eve, JenP!
Boo on COVID, Tom
-t, my keys are always in my pocket. Also I panic when I can’t find my glasses. They are usually on my face when that happens
I am going to Nashville tomorrow for a work confer I am nervous. I literally do not travel. Like, the last time I travel was for the Chicago af2F! Do not like. The doing things outside of my routine has gotten harder as an adult and then objectively terrible because of COVID isolation. I don’t mind the conference part, but I just want a transporter so I don’t have deal with the airport and can go back to my own apartment at the end of the day. Also, what happens if I have a sandwich bag instead of a quart bag?????
{{Sheryl}} that sounds super stressful. I hope it gets better.
{{Sophia}} I hope the travel is actually fine and goes smoothly. Since the car key fiasco I have twice been unable to lay my hands on my phone and even went out to my car quite certain it was there only to find it was (a) in my pocket (a different pocket than the keys had been in, at least) and (b) underneath the notebook I had just set down when I wanted to pick up my phone. I'm just having one of those days where the knowing-where-things-are part of my brain is missing.
