Happy Birthday, Dana, and yay!
We are having a game night tonight with 13 people over! I didn't think everyone would say yes, ha! Yay for decent, folding chairs at Costco. We only have 10 sitting around a table chairs. Now we have more!
I know we're all masked out in the wild, and vaxxed and boosted, so my fingers are crossed we all stay healthy after our gathering...
And it's getting us to make the living room as presentable and accommodating as possible. Why do I love watching other people decorate but refuse to do it in my own damn home? Ugh.
Should be a super fun night, though.

Went to the Washington Folk Festival today. Spent most of the time following Mr. S around. You'd think he'd be ready to sleep after running around so much, but apparently not. Sigh...

I have to say having "moving two and a half weeks" is way better than "moving day."
But things will definitely accelerate this week.

M's mom home came home with a kitten. To keep. For those keeping coun this would be a fifth cat. Which we don't need .
He looks like a mini Jorts. Except not as orange. Not sure his age.
M's mom keeps saying "now I have a cat of my own". Except if she'd been patient with Scrappy she would have had his devotion.
So now we have 5 cats. M is already on the side of the kitten. He is thinking of names. I know the kitten is here to stay but naming it seems very final. Until it's named I can pretend there is a chance to give him back.
