Ugh, msbelle
Different ugh, Dana
Rode my bike almost to the gym and back, I just need to cross the highway and a parking lot to get there which I would probably actually walk most of not all of, and I was able to get my new basket to fit so I can carry stuff like a towel. All according to plan and ahead of schedule.
WFH today but not in a mood to work at all, so we’ll just see how that goes, I guess.
Calli, that sounds really cool!
Still testing negative from last weekends festivities but also hearing about a couple more positives every day, so…eek? Not sure at what point I can uncross my fingers. But this week I stayed home and didn’t do much besides sit on the couch—next week I have like five different appointments, so need to be healthy! (Botox for jaw, regular doctor visit, plumber, car, something else I’m forgetting…)
Quiet round these parts! Went to a basketball game tonight (WNBA). We lost, which was a bummer, but I had fun and saw friends. And am already in bed pre 10pm. Wild times around these parts.
Hope everyone else is having a good weekend start!
Skipped to the end to wish Dana a very happy birthday! I'm so sorry it has been an isolated one. Many wishes for a negative test so that you can celebrate more appropriately.
Arrived at Otter Lake. So much to do. Will catch up later.
Happy Birthday Dana!
The farmers' market is giving me no love on tomatoes this year (though it did have fresh salad greens and fig jam today), so I stopped at a roadside stand and bought 3 giant ones. Also picked what I believe are some primroses in a vacant lot and put them in a cake can vase.

I was feeling good about going to the Belle & Sebastian show last night because 85% of the crowd was masked up (including me). But then I turned around and checked out the crowd and it was sold out and packed to the rafters. So now I'm a bit more worried.
JZ and I are busy packing the next few days. Wall shelving for CDs, LPs and books have to come down by Tuesday.
Matilda went to the big bonfire last night at Ocean Beach for all the HS students. A veritable citywide baccanal. She and her friend Mia are sleeping it off.
Small victory: I kept checking the airline website, and sure enough, they released some seats and I now have an aisle for both flights home. Today! Home today!
Happy birthday, Dana! Congrats on the seats/flight!
