Evaluation~ma, askye!

Woken up a bit early this morning by an earthquake so I just got up and went to the gym and *still* was a few minutes late to the conference call scheduled a half hour before my usual start time. Sigh. But it's not anything I really needed to participate in. Having hard time settling into my usual routine, though.

JZ's up and out the door already to meet with the Wallpaper Lady.

Emmett's joining her to assemble the bed frames and the couch. We still haven't figured out exactly how we're going to orient the couch and TV setup.

The FCE thing went well. I'm physically able to do a lot. At one point the guy asked me if I regularly had to carry what ever weight he had me because it was so heavy. I told him no. Like maybe rarely but not a lot. I can't remember how much it was but over 50 lbs.

The main issue was, of course, getting fuzzy headed and then having memory issues. The evaluation feels very fuzzy and like it happened a long time ago and that was my main issue. HOWEVER I didn't get as fuzzy headed as a I thought I would and while I was having some balance issues at the end it wasn't nearly what I thought it would be like..

So now I wait until the 15th. But at this point i'm sure I'll be going back to work I guess the week of the 19th ..so .. like 7 months after I hit my head.

Another bad night with Mr. S. Didn't go to the er, but we did call 911. Some of the responders were able to get him calmed down. He finally fell asleep around 11. I don't know what sets him off, but it's difficult dealing with him.

I'm sorry, Sheryl. I wish I had something more than sympathy to offer.

My Fitbit tells me this morning"Keep it up, you've been getting enough sleep recently" and then tells me I slept for 6 hours and 22 minutes last night for a daily average of 5 hours and 53 minutes. I don't think we agree on what "enough" means.

Still testing positive on a rapid test. The chance that I'm still contagious is almost nothing, and antigen tests don't test for that, but I would really like to just put that part behind me.

I have redirected him to Google Albums rather than having my phone go off unceasingly with notification of Yet Another Photo.

I'm loving my Nixplay frame. Various family members share their Google Albums with me, and they all play in the frame. Every now and then I look over and there's a new photo of a great nibling that I've never seen before. I can go into the folders in Google Photos if I want to just see the latest, but the whole random pic that I can see on my own schedule is delightful.

Scene am in the in the office, your heroine is on day 3 of nasty nasty mood and is not through her coffee yet.

Heroine (H) on phone - yes, to get that replaced you need to enter that a replacement is need on the (internal interface thingy) system.

Boss hovering

H - hangs up

Boss - they should just be able to email with the code info and get a replacement.

H - I was trained that a (system) request is needed, so I wanted to instruct her to use the system.

Boss annoyed - (addressing me by name) I think they can send an email with the code. Check with (acting chief of the division that does replacements).

H - ok. (Makes faces as soon as boss is in office)

H email acting chief. IS CORRECT THAT SYSYEM REQUEST IS NEEDED. Tries to let boss know without sounding smug.

Boss is stressed and has been hovering A LOT this week which is really not her normal behavior.

Just a bad combo when my default this week is “cut a bitch”.

Also she is not normally in on Friday, so both of us are annoyed that she is in.
