Angel: You know, I killed my actual dad. It was one of the first things I did when I became a vampire. Wesley: I hardly see how that's the same situation. Angel: Yeah. I didn't really think that one through.

Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

the phrase "directionally correct"

This phrase is new to me. I suspect that I'm lucky.

I'm halfway through my workday. I'm also off tomorrow and Friday and the whole of next week. My focus is pretty non-existent right now.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Of course my parents are like "there is no need to do this, we are fine." and I am "YOU ARE NOT THE BOSS OF ME, LET ME HAVE FUN!"

Awwww

This phrase is new to me. I suspect that I'm lucky.

Mostly it has just lost all meaning (and I feel like it didn't have much to start with)

Proud to be united with fellow dragging-to-work folk

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

directionally correct

You could muddy the waters by introducing the use of the terms vector and matrix. Perhaps even an aligned cynosure?

"That's a valid vector, Victor."

"Let's utilize a transformational matrix!"

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

"Let's utilize a transformational matrix!"

That one is frighteningly plausible.

You are making me laugh but also afraid, dcp!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Showering has not happened yet today. I should take lunch and remedy that.

Now tagless for your comfort.

At the library helping some families with kids pick out books for their holiday travel. *facepalm*

We wish you a Merry Covid We wish you a Merry Covid We wish you a Merry Covid and a Ventilator!

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I am sitting on the shower's floor, trying to seduce a cat to leave her new hiding place which I cannot reach and from which I can't help her.

She ate tiny bits today (~half a tea spoon, over the entire day) and got antibiotic and anti-pain and anti-nausea shots, but I still think (well, by 90%) it's too late and the damage to her stomach is too bad. She's not herself anymore and trying to hide in new inaccessible places. But the vet is more optimistic than me, so maybe they know something I don't.

I wish I had other updates, but this is my life now. Trying to understand whether my cat recovers, and if not, when to put her to sleep.

Oh, Shir, I'm sorry. I wish some improvement for kitty.
